Jean M. Lupariello, Esq.
Jean M. Lupariello is a highly regarded Attorney/ Mediator focusing on divorce and custody conflicts as well as workplace and community issues. She has been a Family Attorney for 25 years and a Family Mediator for 13 years. She is a trained Collaborative Divorce Attorney and is devoting a high percentage of her practice to Collaborative Divorce and Mediation because she thinks that these alternative dispute resolution models provide a more respectful way of resolving conflict.
One of her main areas of focus is high conflict custody disputes with which she has successfully dealt in her private mediation practice and, for the past ten years, as a court-appointed custody Mediator in the
Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas’ Generations custody program.
Recently, she has completed training in Parenting Coordination through the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and plans to incorporate this into her practice.
Ms. Lupariello is also a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem for custody cases in the Adult Family Division and has done similar work in the Juvenile Court where she has worked for 6 years representing
families and children in Dependency proceedings.
She is a founding member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern PA and is the chair of the education and training committee. She is also on the Board .of Directors of the Mediation Council of Western PA and co-chairs the public relations committee.
Ms. Lupariello has appeared on the CBS show 48 HOURS and in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette speaking on Family and Children’s issues
