Dawn is a permanency specialist for the Blair Foundation. The Bair Foundation is a non-profit ministry serving children and families. Bair has provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. The programs are child-centered, family-focused, strength-based and culturally competent which are making a significant and positive impact on the children and families Bair serves. 

Previously, Dawn has viewed the Family Court from numerous perspectives having worked as a practicing Attorney, Mediator, Guardian ad Litem, Parent Coordinator and Collaborative Law Attorney.  During her tenure as a Mediator, Dawn Mediated over 1,000 custody, equitable distribution and child welfare cases. 

Dawn's expertise includes Child advocacy, custody mediation, child welfare mediation, program development/implementation/direction, parenting coordination, conflict resolution practice and training, interdisciplinary team building and teamwork, collaborative lawyering, grant writing and incorporating new programs into existing systems.   She is a strong advocate for maximizing children's involvement with both parents.
