Dawn is an attorney for KidsVoice, a non-profit, public interest law firm that provides advocacy and legal representation for youth in the child welfare system in Allegheny County. Through a multi-disciplinary approach to representation, KidsVoice ensures that the emotional, physical, and educational needs of their clients are addressed.
Previously, Dawn has viewed the Family Court from numerous perspectives having worked as a practicing Attorney, Mediator, Guardian ad Litem, Parent Coordinator and Collaborative Law Attorney. During her tenure as a Mediator, Dawn Mediated over 1,000 custody, equitable distribution and child welfare cases.
Dawn's expertise includes Child advocacy, custody mediation, child welfare mediation, program development/implementation/direction, parenting coordination, conflict resolution practice and training, interdisciplinary team building and teamwork, collaborative lawyering, grant writing and incorporating new programs into existing systems. She is a strong advocate for maximizing children's involvement with both parents.
